This course is designed to help you become more aware of your communication with the people that matter the most to you: close friends, romantic partners, and family members. Through theory, application, and self-reflection, you will learn about effective and ineffective methods of communication and their impact on interpersonal relationships. Argumentation (COMM 104)
Do you ever feel like society is going crazy? Like no one can have a civil conversation without yelling and name-calling? Are you exhausted by the negativity? Then Argumentation is the class for you! In this class, we focus on dialogue rather than debate. We have well-reasoned conversations with people who hold different perspectives than us, we share our ideas respectfully, and we come to a fuller understanding of the topic at hand.
